Tubastrea faulkneri, also known as the yellow sun coral, is a beautiful and striking LPS coral species that instantly draws attention to any reef aquarium. With its bright yellow, tubular polyps and colony-forming structure, this coral creates a vibrant and exotic appearance, especially when fully open.

Unlike most corals, the Tubastrea doesn't require light to survive. This species feeds on plankton and micronutrients, which require active feeding. This makes it ideal for shady areas of the aquarium or under overhangs where there's little light.
