MARINE POWER ADVANCED MINERAL SALT is intended to balance the ratio of the elements so that it is comparable to seawater. It is an essential complement of MARINE POWER ADVANCED macro elements.

The side effect of dosing calcium and KH (bicarbonates) is the formation of NaCl salt. Therefore, long-term use of Ca and KH can increase the salinity and destroy the chemical balance of macro elements in the salt water. The MARINE POWER ADVANCED MINERAL SALT is designed to compensate for these differences. It is important that all three supplements MARINE POWER ADVANCED CALCIUM, MARINE POWER ADVANCED KH/ALKALINITY and MARINE POWER ADVANCED MINERAL SALT are used together as a complete method of dosing macronutrients in a marine aquarium.

Preparation and dosage

MARINE POWER ADVANCED MINERAL SALT is designed for self-preparation of concentrated liquid.

Preparation of 1 liter of preparation:

• 1. Weigh out 25 g of the powder using a kitchen scale.
• 2. Pour 700 ml RODI water at room temperature (20°C) into a graduated container.
• 3. Add 25 g of the previously weighed powder and mix the liquid until the crystals are completely dissolved.
• 4. Top up the bowl to 1 L (1000 ml) with RODI water.
• 5. Use the table below if you need more fluid.

• 2 l - 50 g
• 5 l - 125 g
• 10 l - 250 g

Since the main application of MARINE POWER ADVANCED MINERAL SALT is to maintain proper macronutrient ratios, its dosage should depend on the daily calcium intake and the daily decrease of KH in the aquarium.

While it is possible to dose the solutions manually, with the MARINE POWER ADVANCED method we recommend using dosing pumps that make supplementation easier and more accurate.
