The feeding conditions for the lower animals in the marine aquarium (corals, sponges and others) are ideal, if nitrate and phosphate are present in the lowest concentrations. Tropic Marin ELIMI-NP is concentrated organic carbon for the effective and efficient reduction of nitrate and phosphate in marine aquariums by introducing these compounds into additional biomass.

ELIMI-NP is suitable for all saltwater aquariums with increased phosphate concentration and a low nitrate-phosphate ratio, as is often observed in a marine aquarium.

How to use

How to use the 50ml bottle:

Attach the supplied tubing to the syringe and measure the desired amount of EIMI-NP with the syringe. The air that enters the hose and syringe when the syringe is pulled does not affect the dosage. The bottom of the plunger always shows the correct dosing amount, even if the desired amount of ELIMI-NP, due to the aspirated air, is only in the hose and not in the spray chamber. The air drawn in serves to empty the hose during dosing.

Use of the 200 ml bottle:

Turn the pump head counterclockwise until it pops out. Pressing the pump head once equals 1 ml.

Dosage

Start with a daily dose of 0.1 ml per 100 L of aquarium system volume and increase the dose after 2 weeks, observing the animals and checking the nitrate and phosphate concentrations, with 0.1 ml per 100 L (26 US gal) volume of the aquarium system. Dose ELIMI-NP in the flow of the pump to ensure a good distribution throughout the aquarium

Maximum dose

A daily dose of 0.5 ml per 100 L (26 US gal) aquarium system volume should not be exceeded. The phosphate concentration in the reef aquarium should only be lowered slowly to avoid possible adaptation stress on the organisms. At the same time, the nitrate-phosphate ratio should not exceed 10: 1.

With a nitrate-phosphate ratio greater than 10:1, we recommend using Tropic Marin NP-BACTO-BALANCE instead of ELIMI-NP, to best adjust nutrient concentrations.
