Tropic Marin® has discovered a special group of compounds for seawater aquariums. These marine biopolymers are long-chain molecules produced by organisms in response to the specific challenges presented by their unique marine environment.

By incorporating these long-chain biopolymers with long chain, the new products REEF ACTIF and PRO-CORAL REEF SNOW increase the vitality and color of corals and reef shells enormously, while other filter-feeding animals are provided with an optimal food source. Both products also contribute to a significant improvement in the water quality of saltwater aquariums.

Tropic Marin® REEF ACTIF has a unique dual function as an adsorber and bacterial nutrient in seawater aquariums. In addition, it assumes a central function as a link between inorganic nutrients and the biological population in the seawater aquarium. REEF ACTIF is suspended in the aquarium water, where it connects with both nutrients and water pollutants, making them available as nutrients for bacteria and other animals that feed on dissolved organic material in the salt water.
