The Milwaukee MW600 PRO Portable Dissolved Oxygen Meter is one of Milwaukee's most popular meters with its reliable and fast operation and accuracy.

The Milwaukee PRO DO meter is preferred by those looking for lab-level accuracy without the cost. The Milwaukee DO Meter is popular with everyone from field biologists and educators to fish farmers and koi pond owners.

Range : 0.0 to 19.9 mg/L
DO Accuracy : ± 1.5% full scale
TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION : Automatic
CALIBRATION : Msnusl 2 point (zero and slope)

DESIGN FEATURES

  • Fast, easy-to-read results with large digital LCD readout
  • Repeatable, accuracy to ±1.5% FS
  • Lightweight and portable
  • Simple 2-point calibration in the open air (see video below)
  • Uses MA840 amplified polarographic probe with an oxygen permeable polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane sensor
  • Includes 5 o-rings, diaphragms and a protective cap
  • 3 meter probe cable for extra flexibility when testing
  • 70 hours of continuous use (battery included) with low battery warning

CARE AND USE "OPEN AIR" CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

  • 1. Remove the diaphragm
Remove the membrane from the end of the probe and dry the diode.
  • 2. Zero the display
Connect the probe to the base station and turn on the device. Your display should show 0.0. If not, use the supplied screwdriver to position the "0" screw on the front of the unit and through the access hole, have it read 0.0 on the unit's display.
  • 3. Fill the membrane
Go to the diaphragm and place the "O" ring in the diaphragm on the shoulder at the base of the threads. Fill the diaphragm to just below the "O" ring with MA9071 electrolyte solution. Make sure there are no air bubbles in the membrane. (Air bubbles are the main cause of calibration failure)
  • 4. Attach the diaphragm
Screw the membrane onto the probe.
  • 5. Allow to stabilize
Turn the meter on and hang the probe on the end of a table with the tip pointing down and allow the device's display to stabilize (this may take 5 to 15 minutes)
  • 6. Customize
Hold down the "Cal" button on the front of the meter and move the screwdriver to the front Cal position "100%" and let the display read 100.
    You are now calibrated.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

Watch out for the membrane with wrinkles or stretch marks. If you see wrinkles, replace it with a new membrane.
Always use fresh electrolyte solution (MA9071).
