Hanna Checktemp 1 (HI-98509) is a compact meter with a stainless steel sensor on a 1 m flexible cable. Highly accurate and designed for rapid temperature measurements in semi-solids and liquids. The flexible silicone cable also makes this meter ideal for taking measurements in hard-to-reach locations.

With a water-resistant housing and battery compartment, both tested to IP65, the latest model is ideal for use in food preparation and production, including steamy kitchen environments and refrigerated storage.

• The Checktemp 1 probe with a flexible silicone cable is a highly accurate, fast responding thermometer. Pocket-sized and quick and easy to use, it's also packed with powerful features.
• High accuracy: ±0.2 between -30°C and +120°C
• IP65 Water Resistance Rating: Enables the product to be used in hot, steamy kitchens, cold storage and refrigerators, and by kitchen staff with damp or wet hands.
• Automatic shutdown: extends battery life; also selectable from 8min, 60min or off
• EN13485: Checktemp 1 has been tested and meets the European standard for food thermometers EN13485
• Automatic Calibration Check: Provides an automatic calibration check every time
• Checktemp 1 is turned on to check proper operation
