Check valve precision (2/3 mm)

A check valve, backflow preventer, check valve or check valve, is a valve that is used to pass air or liquid 1 direction. Typically, the medium pushes the valve open when flowing, and a spring or gravity closes the valve when the medium wants to flow back. In other cases, the medium closes the valve itself when flowing back.

With a non-return valve you prevent water from running back into your (air) pump or liquid tank, with all its consequences. Air or liquid can escape from the valve to the water in your aquarium, but cannot flow back through the non-return valve, so that it could get into your pump or membrane.
