phosfiltrum ™ is a specially formulated, high-density granular iron (III) oxide (GFO). It quickly removes phosphates and silicates from both fresh and salt water and does not allow them to return to your aquarium. It is much harder and therefore much less vulnerable than other GFOs, so it will not fall apart into fine particles in your aquarium. It has the highest binding capacity of phosphate removers on the market, so it will last much longer before it needs to be replaced.
