Easy and safe removal of phosphates and silicates from freshwater and seawater.
Intensive research in the field of phosphate and silicate adsorption has made it possible to develop a product that can adsorb large amounts of phosphate and silicate without having the slightest negative impact on the water in the aquarium. Phosphates released during the decomposition process of feed residues, dead plant parts or animal excrements must be adsorbed in a biologically harmless way.
Clean water has a very low phosphate concentration. Hard corals and calcareous algae, in particular, do not thrive with rising phosphate levels. The phosphate content in the marine aquarium must not exceed 0.015 mg / l.
Aqua Phos does not release other substances such as heavy metals into the water. There is also no interaction with the water after Aqua Phos has been in the aquarium for a long time. That is why Aqua Phos can also be used very well with sensitive species in sea or fresh water.
Binding capacity: 40,000 mg / kg phosphate, 10,000 mg silicate, 8,000 mg / kg copper
Application
To remove fine dust, you should rinse Aqua Phos in the enclosed wick under tap water. Then put the stocking in the water. Aqua Phos can also be placed directly in the filter.
Lifespan
The life span of the Aqua Phos varies depending on the pollution of the aquarium water. Never underestimate the concentration of phosphates in the decoration or in the substrate! 500 ml Aqua Phos for 2000L (sea water) and about 4000L (fresh water).
Slight cloudiness after use is absolutely harmless. Keep Aqua Phos in closed packaging!
