Aragonite, 100% natural material of high purity, deposited from fossil corals, shells, calcifying micro-organisms/plankton, etc.
Chemically, the high purity calcium carbonate CaCO3 is food grade (38% pure calcium plus carbonate CO3).
- Used in the drinking water sector for treatment and hardening
- Ideal for calcium enrichment lime reactors, soluble even in the slightly acidic range (pH below 7)
- As a filter material and substrate for seawater and East African aquariums, is able to bind phosphates
- For neutralization behind a sulfur nitrate filter
- Available in different grain sizes as 25 kg bags or in eco-friendly 10 kg boxes
- Is the best alternative to real coral sand, avoiding over-exploitation in nature and protecting the beaches of this world, your contribution to nature conservation
