Usage

Rinse PhosBan briefly before use, but do not stir the granules to prevent pulverization. Place the medium in the supplied filter bag or between fine filter wool in a flow-through filter. For best results, use an up-flow filter, such as the PhosBan Reactor, with a sufficiently low flow rate so that the granules do not tumble.

• Salt water dosage: 50 g per 200 liters
• Dosage for fresh water: 50 g per 400 liters
• A 150-gram jar treats up to 565 liters of aquarium water.
• Check the phosphate level regularly and replace PhosBan as soon as it rises.
• At high dosages, alkalinity may decrease; check and correct if necessary.
