Sometimes the carbon dioxide that builds up in the air in closed buildings causes the pH of an aquarium to be low. We have the solution: it's called CDX, a carbon dioxide adsorption system. Simply install CDX into our PhosBan reactor and connect it to the air inlet of a protein skimmer, using a length of tubing and our CDX adapter to make the connection. The CO2-free air entering the protein skimmer absorbs excess CO2 dissolved in the aquarium water, raising the pH of the aquarium.
