Reagents in test kits may lose their activity over time due to unfavorable storage conditions, high or low temperatures, and exposure to oxygen, which can lead to inaccurate results. Therefore, the tests in question should be tested regularly with a stable standard.
Tropic Marin® Multi-Standard is a laboratory prepared solution tested using ICP-OES. It allows you to check calcium, magnesium, potassium and KH/alkalinity tests and calculate a correction factor if necessary.
- Simple verification of the functionality and accuracy of seawater tests
- Only one standard for testing multiple tests (calcium, magnesium, potassium and KH)
- Works with all commercially available tests
