Red Sea T5 TL tube - Pink - for extra color

Red Sea T5 TL tube - Pink - for extra color. The unique spectrum of the REEF - SPEC Pink enhances the red, pink and purple colors of SPS and LPS corals.

Red Sea Reef Spec T5

Most corals are photosynthetic and about 85% of the energy needed for their growth and coloring is provided by the symbiotic relationship they share with the zooxanthellae that live in the coral. To enable the development of the zooxanthellae it is necessary not only to provide the correct intensity of light (about 1 w / liter T5) but also to guarantee the correct color spectrum for corals.

Red Sea's new T5 Reef Lighting range is the result of extensive testing of the needs of the corals in a reef aquarium environment. This high quality, German-made lighting has been proven to provide the intensity and color spectrum demanded by the most demanding coral species (SPS). After all, corals such as Acropora, Montiopora and Seriatopora place much higher demands on lighting than, for example, soft corals.

A combination of the Red Sea T5 tubes not only creates a pleasant and natural visual effect but also promotes growth and fluorescence without stimulating the development of unwanted algae.
