The need for the use of trace elements has been known for decades in reef aquariums.

The introduction of modern water analysis offers completely new possibilities for monitoring the consumption of trace elements in marine aquariums. In addition, new insights have been gained into which trace elements are relevant and in what ratio they are included. Important individual elements such as vanadium, rubidium or selenium were often neglected in the past. Today it is also known that certain elements such as iron and zinc must be specially stabilized, otherwise they are not available.

Instructions for use:

Nyos® ION ELEMENTS 1 CA/MG is not added to the aquarium, but to the Nyos® ION-B CA/MG+ solution. The target dosage is 20 ml per litre of Nyos® ION-B CA/MG+. To get an idea of ​​the needs of your aquarium, start with 10 ml per litre and then increase the value continuously over 2-4 weeks until your trace element values ​​are within the target range. For control purposes, we recommend a regular ICP analysis of your aquarium.

NB:

If no trace elements have been added to your aquarium in the past, it may take some time before the increase in trace element concentrations is noticeable.
