The MJ-SK series of Maxspect JUMP skimmers include many of the well-known and beloved features of the popular Aeroqua Duo series, but at almost half the cost and a fraction of the size. This makes the MJ-SK800 an ideal choice for entry-level reefers looking to test Maxspect's patented dual needle wheel impeller technology and streamlined skimmer design.

Patented Dual Needle Wheel Design

The JUMP Skimmer features Maxspect's unique patented dual needle wheel technology, which has a spinning needle wheel and a stationary needle wheel. This combination produces much finer, more concentrated bubbles for more efficient waste disposal.

DC powered skimmer with smart control

The SK400 is powered by direct current with a fully adjustable flow rate. The included controller is packed with features like power mode, overflow protection, start delay and more!

Innovative designs - not your typical skimmer

The MJ-SK800 features a pipeless design and a compact footprint, saving valuable space in your sump.

The float switch is built into the lid and is activated when the canister becomes too full. The skimmer automatically shuts off when the water level is too high, preventing waste from flowing into your sump and back into your system. Once the float switch returns to its normal position, the pump will resume operation after a few seconds.

The air damper is ingeniously integrated into the bottom panel of the skimmer, where the sound is further isolated by the water around it.

A special integrated bubble trap prevents pesky micro-bubbles from escaping into your canister, and a cup-shaped bubble diffuser reduces turbulence to direct air upwards instead of out, so bubbles and DOCs easily rise through the body into the canister.

The skimmer can be easily disassembled for cleaning and maintenance - just loosen the thumbscrews in each corner to easily remove the entire skimmer housing.
