Hydrospace PNS YelloSno is a unique coral food that mimics natural "marine snow," the organic matter that naturally drifts through the water of coral reefs. These particles are an important food source for many corals and other reef organisms.

Natural marine snow simulation

In natural reefs, marine snow consists of tiny particles of organic material such as plankton remains, bacteria, and other microorganisms. These particles clump together and form nutritious aggregates that are consumed by corals and filter feeders.

PNS YelloSno mimics this process with a chitin-based substrate fermented with Purple Non-Sulfur bacteria ( Rhodopseudomonas palustris ). The result is a nutritious biofloc rich in proteins, B vitamins, and amino acids.

Usage

Add in an area with strong water flow:

• Maximum 1 bottle (16 oz / 473 ml) per 500 gallons of system water
• Approximately 1 ml per gallon of aquarium water

For best results, dose regularly but sparingly. When used as part of a feeding schedule, a weekly dose is recommended.

Adjust particle size

The dark purple inclusions in the product are biofloc particles. The particle size can be adjusted by shaking the product:

• Shake vigorously for fine particles
• Shake gently for larger flakes

Strong odor and slight color variations are normal with this product.
