The HI-707-25 are high-quality, pre-measured reagents that allow users to make fast and accurate measurements with their Nitrite Low Range Checker® HC. These reagents operate according to the diazotization method, where the reaction between nitrite and the reagent produces a pink hue in the sample. By simply adding the HI-707-25 reagent packet to the sample, the reaction occurs, and the HI-707 determines the concentration based on the color produced. Results are displayed in ppb of nitrite. These reagents are designed for use with samples with an expected range of 0 to 600 ppb of nitrite.
