In the saltwater aquarium, the stability of the pH value is of the utmost importance. Carbonat pro instant is a special buffer and carbonate hardness (kH) builder, which ensures that the pH value in the saltwater aquarium is stabilized at a value between 8.0 and 8.3 and replaces the carbonate hardness, which has been consumed by precipitation and organic
catabolic processes. Carbonatpro Instant thus protects against dangerous pH deviations.
In the reef aquarium the optimum value is approx. 7 - 10° kH.

Carbonat pro instant is a special buffer and carbonate hardness (kH) builder for easily and quickly increasing the carbonate hardness.
It can either be used to mix a base solution or added directly to the aquarium.

Mixing a Balling base solution:

• Put 84g of Carbonat pro instant in a measuring cup and add osmosis water to 1000ml.
• The Balling stock solutions of Carbonat, Calcium, Magnesium and Mineral pro instant must be dosed separately in equal parts!

Mixing a basic solution:

• Put 168 g of Carbonat pro instant in a measuring cap and add osmosis water to 2000 ml.
• By adding 36 ml of this basic solution, the kH content will be reduced by approx. 1°dKH per 100 liters of aquarium water.

Direct Dosage:

• 1 measuring spoon (approx. 9g) results in an increase in the carbonate hardness of approx. 3°dKH /l per 100 liters of aquarium water.
• In case of larger deviations, the amount should be increased over a period of several days.
• Please dose directly into the filter basin on a well-floating surface.
