Korallen-Zucht K-Balance
Potassium is an important element in seawater like calcium and is concentrated at approx. 390 mg/L.
K-Balance contains several potassium salts in high concentration. Our tests in different tanks have shown the benefits in color and growth after a few days of dosing.
- Polyp extension within short time.
- Improves growth and coloration of all corals, especially in SPS such as Montipora, Stylopora, Seriatopora, Pocillopora, Acropora.
- Recommended in any tank system.
Low potassium levels have the following characteristics:
Montipora stops growing, colors are dull to gray, good coloring without potassium is not possible. Low Potassium Poccilopora and Stylopora look like they have been out of the water into the air, polyps are inside and the color is light with no depth and faded. Blue Acropora have also faded. Seriatopora may show complete tissue necrosis within a few days. Turbinaria Reniformis stops growing.
Keep in mind that
Do not increase the dosage on the label. Product is very concentrated. We recommend checking the potassium level regularly, such as Ca or Mg.
K-Balance is mainly to increase the potassium content in large tanks.
