Trusted by public aquariums worldwide, Colony is the standard for instant biofiltration. Before fish can be added to the aquarium, biofiltration must occur to remove the toxic ammonia and nitrite produced by fish waste. ATM’s Colony accomplishes this biofiltration in days instead of weeks using real, commercial nitrifying bacteria. Used by ATM, the world’s largest aquarium manufacturer, Colony contains real Nitrococcus and Nitrosococcus bacteria, which are specific to the marine environment.
Please note: Following the instructions for Colony is critical to its operation. The bacteria in Colony are living organisms that require specific operating conditions. Failure to follow one direction may result in product failure.
