Soft corals are particularly sensitive to iodide loss and will show stunted growth and eventual death if iodide is not replenished. Potassium Iodide Reef Shot safely replaces the vital iodide lost in captivity. It is beneficial to macroalgae, calcareous algae, fish, and hard and soft corals. Iodide is consumed in aquariums through plant and animal consumption, protein skimming, and ozonation.

Instructions for use:

Shake well before use. Add one bottle (20ml) of Potassium Iodide Reef Shot per 200 litres of water every two weeks. A weekly water change of 10-20% of the water with Reef Evolution salt is highly recommended to maintain optimum water quality. Pour product gently into the flow when adding for even distribution. Allow 5 minutes between additions of other products. Direct contact with marine organisms should be avoided as high local concentrations can be harmful. As with all chemical products, keep out of reach of children.
