Zeolite-based probiotic filtration has gained a strong following in recent years and with good reason. By leveraging the nutrient processing characteristics of selective strains of bacteria and a substrate conducive to their metabolic needs, zeolite-based probiotic filtration effectively creates Ultra Low Nutrient (ULN) conditions most closely resembling reef environments. Concept

Vertex zeolite reactors feature two chamber agitators to effectively prevent seizing and reduce wear. Furthermore, the combination of angular water injection and concave shape of the inner base facilitates circular movement in the lower chamber. This in turn reduces the channeling effect and ensures an even distribution of the flow through all slots of the perforated plate.

Build

Reliable and functional design, assembled with high quality acrylic, PVC cover and base for a more durable design, quality fittings and titanium screws show both quality and elegance. All parts are processed in-house using precise CNC machines for better quality and consistency throughout the unit.

Operation and maintenance

Rx-Z reactors are designed for ease of use. The acrylic lid settles into a seated O-ring, allowing for a leak-proof seal and effortless removal. Foot-mounted pump design can be easily disconnected from the unit via a true connection ball valve disconnect. Onboard Dosing-port makes dosing probiotic additives in liquid effortless, while they are readily available to the bacteria in the reactor. Rx-Z reactors can be completely disassembled for thorough maintenance.
