In order for all the processes involved in this element to proceed correctly, it is necessary to maintain the Ca level in the aquarium at about 420 ppm, above this value there is no noticeable improvement in the levels of coral calcification.

It is not advisable to increase calcium above this value (450 ppm), it will cause a decrease in alkalinity, so it is advisable to use this additive only to make corrections of the calcium measured in our aquarium and to use a balanced additive that will bring us this element in complete balance with the rest of the additives of our aquarium. Instructions for use : 5 g of Xepta Ca+ increases the calcium level by 18 ppm in 100 liters of aquarium water. It can be added directly to the aquarium with the amount of Ca+ needed to increase the calcium level of our aquarium in a zone with a strong current or it is possible to dilute the contents of the package in osmotic water, to do this we prepare 5 liters of osmotic water and mix all the contents of the package, the water must be completely crystal clear. This reaction is quite exothermic and releases heat, so it is normal for the container to heat up. When we have prepared the 5 liters of solution, using 10 ml of this solution will increase the Ca level by 7 ppm per 100 liters of water in the aquarium.
