The VCA RSR Slip-Fit Drop Adapter is specifically designed for use with the Random Flow Generator (RFG) on Red Sea Reefer aquariums. The standard return outlet of a Reefer aquarium is often located right at the waterline, preventing an RFG nozzle from functioning optimally.

This adapter lowers the position of the nozzle just enough below the water surface to allow the Random Flow Generator to function properly and create an effective, random flow.

Optimal operation of the Random Flow Generator

For proper operation, an RFG nozzle must be completely submerged in water. The Drop Adapter allows the outlet to be positioned slightly lower, allowing the flow generator to perform optimally.
