Tropical Gammarus
Gammarus (also called amphipods) are small crustaceans (1-2cm) that are very suitable as a supplement for aquatic turtles, lizards and other reptiles.
These dried freshwater shrimps are rich in proteins, phosphorus and beta-carotene, a natural carotenoid that contributes to an excellent condition. In fish, the carotene even improves the color.
Freshwater shrimp also contain chitin, which as crude fiber regulates the digestive processes and prevents constipation.
Also very suitable for rodents (hamsters), birds (chickens, songbirds) and fish (both tropical and pond fish, koi and larger goldfish).
