Cooling fan in turbine model with single arm mounting, for lowering the temperature in your (marine) aquarium. Inexpensive, good solution to lower the temperature when the water temperature in your aquarium becomes too high. Two models are available.

Temperature control

There are two main factors that affect the water temperature in the aquarium. On the one hand, the spatial temperature and on the other hand, the incidence of the sun's rays. When the room temperature rises significantly in summer, it is important to regularly check the temperature in the aquarium. Target temperature: 24-26°C. Temperatures above 30°C are very problematic and can cause significant damage to fish, corals and plants. Aquariums should never be exposed to direct sunlight. The higher the temperature, the more difficult it is for the oxygen essential for the animals to dissolve.

Easy assembly

The holder of the fan is placed on the aquarium rim (up to max. 2.4 cm thick) and fixed with clamping screws.

Evaporative Cooling

The Top Aqua crossflowFan for freshwater and saltwater aquariums cool the water temperature by 2-4°C using crossflow fans. Due to the airflow, the warm water at the water surface evaporates and thereby produces evaporative coolness. Similar to a breeze brushing against a moist part of the body.
