The Nyos Quantum 300 is equipped with a newly developed hybrid wheel. This extremely precisely manufactured impeller, built with super light materials, combines the advantages of a needle wheel and a grille wheel.

The hybrid wheel is characterized by its grid-shaped base on which many very narrow needles are mounted.

This structure ensures that countless extremely fine micro-air bubbles are generated. The greatly reduced weight and the high precision lead to less maintenance and at the same time low energy consumption.

The hybrid wheel needs a pump chamber that is specially adapted to it. That is why a Clear-View Reactor was developed for the Nyos Quantum 300. The Clear View Reactor is a transparent, performance-optimized, large-volume reaction chamber in which the water-air mixture is generated.

In combination with the hybrid wheel and the adjusted venturi nozzle, it produces an extreme air performance with an optimum air-to-water ratio. The transparency means that any foreign bodies can be easily identified. At the same time it is possible to see the enormous performance of the pump in operation.

Extreme air performance and the best bubbles are one thing. But to achieve optimum creaming, the bubbles that are generated must also remain in contact with the water for as long as possible. That is why the saw blade-shaped Twister was developed for the Nyos Quantum 300 in addition to the normal bubble plate. This gives the bubbles an extra twist and swirls them further in a vortex. This considerably increases the contact time of the air bubbles in the water column.

Water does not like corners. That is why we have developed a stream-optimized, protected double S-shape. In this so-called Sinus design, the air bubbles can rise freely and completely freely, ergonomically so to speak, without the formation of poorly flowing zones at disturbing corners.

The Nyos Quantum 300 can be adapted to all aquarium conditions: the amount of water and the amount of air can be set separately and independently of each other. An approximate adjustment of the water level is achieved by means of the water-adjusting tube, while the particularly accurate micro-adjustment screw, which is also included, allows an additional fine-tuning of the water level.

A Nyos Quantum 300 intentionally does not use externally mounted, bulky pumps. The skimmer can be completely dismantled.
