The Pterosynchiropus splendidus, better known as the Mandarin dragonet, is one of the most colorful and beloved fish in marine aquariums. This variety is DJM Bred, meaning it was bred responsibly and under controlled conditions. This results in stronger, better-adapted animals that are easier to acclimate to aquariums and diets than wild-caught specimens.

• Intense colours in green, blue, orange and red
• Peaceful behavior, suitable for quiet reef aquariums
• Aquarium bred (DJM Bred) , so more sustainable and stress resistant
• Generally more readily eat thawed or commercially caught food than wild-caught

Care:

The Mandarinfish thrives in a well-established aquarium with ample live rock and microfauna. Although DJM Bred fish often accept simpler foods, a stable pod population remains a major advantage. Suitable for peaceful tankmates and ideal for experienced reef keepers.
