Orca Nitra-Guard BIO-Cubes Titanium V15

Orca Labs Nitra-Guard BIO-Cubes Titanium V15 remove nitrates and phosphates and can be used in marine and freshwater systems. Also work if PO4 is 0.

The difference with respect to the Bio-cubes is that the Titanium version can remove nitrate with a phosphate value of 0. The normal BIO-cubes cannot remove nitrate without available phosphate.

BIO-Cubes Titanium are made from 100% biodegradable polymers that effectively remove nitrates and phosphates and can be used in marine and freshwater systems. BIO-Cubes have a very large surface area and contain 400% more carbohydrates than any other brand, making it the best product of its kind in the world.

BIO-Cubes Titanium are very versatile and can be used in filter bags, fluidized bed filters and denitrators. BIO-Cubes require no maintenance and no nutritional dosages, making it the easiest and most convenient nitrate and phosphate removal product on the market. Nitra-Guard BIO-Cubes comes with a free filter bag with every pot.

How does it all work?

Bacteria consume the high carbohydrate source found in the BIO-Cubes Titanium and form a biomass that absorbs nitrates and phosphates from the water in the aquarium. This biomass is then skimmed off with a protein skimmer or is consumed as a food source by corals.

When growing bacteria, 2 of the most important factors that determine the size of the colony are the surface and the food source. BIO cubes look like small sponges with open cells that give the product an enormous surface. BIO-Cubes Titanium also has 400% more biologically available, insoluble polymer carbohydrates than any other product in the world.

These 2 factors create conditions that are perfect for growing and maintaining large bacterial colonies that are needed to effectively remove phosphate and nitrate from aquariums. Independent tests conducted in real-life scenarios revealed that BIO-Cubes Titanium had the ability to reduce nitrates from 60 ppm to 5 ppm in less than 2 weeks, while competing products claim to start working after 2 weeks!

Instructions

The amount required depends on the stocking density and the amount of food that is added to the aquarium.

For heavily occupied aquariums, use 3 ml per 1 liter of aquarium water and for aquariums with a lighter occupancy, add 1 ml to every 1 liter of aquarium water.

When the BIO-Cubes Titanium is used in a filter bag or reactor, place it near the protein skimmer to remove the nitrate and phosphate-rich biomass faster.

After 1 to 2 weeks, the bacteria colonies will become sufficiently productive to lower the nitrate content in your aquarium. If the nitrate and phosphate levels in your aquarium are high, some turbidity may occur, which will disappear after a few days.

Soak BIO-Cubes Titanium in fresh water for 24 hours before use.
