The Reef Octopus CO2 Scrubber is a universal reactor to help regulate pH levels in a reef aquarium by lowering the dissolved carbon dioxide concentration in the water. The ideal pH level for a reef aquarium should be around 8.3 for optimal coral growth. If your tank suffers from chronically low pH or you are having difficulty keeping the pH within the desired range, connecting a Reef Octopus CO2 Scrubber to the air intake of your protein skimmer is a great solution to raise and maintain your levels.
