Product information

Nyos® CORAL DIP is a state-of-the-art product with a targeted effect against almost all types of coral parasites and pests. It has been developed in cooperation with leading coral nurseries and optimized over a long period for optimum performance. Its use is recommended for both acute parasite infestations and preventatively when adding new corals to the aquarium.

Instructions for use:

  • Shake before use
  • Dose Nyos® CORAL DIP as follows in a separate container with aquarium water

Flatworms (Turbellaria) such as:

  • Acropora eating flatworms (Amakusaplana acroporae / Prosthiostomum acroporae – AEFW)
  • New Acropora-eating flatworms (NAEFW)
  • Euphyllia eating flatworms
  • Leopard flatworms (Pericelis)
  • So-called "Red Planaria" (Convolutriloba retrogemma)
  • More Acoela - Flatworms

Slugs (Phyllodesmium, Phestilla, Tritoniopsis, Aeolidiella) such as:

  • Zoanthus eating slugs (Aeolidiella)
  • Montipora eating slugs (Phestilla) subodiosa)
  • Sympodium eating slugs (Tritoniopsis elegans)
  • Soft coral eating nudibranchs (Phyllodesmium briareum)
  • Clavularia eats slugs
  • Alveopora eats slugs
  • Tubastrea eats slugs
  • Porites eats slugs
  • Goniopora eats slugs

Exotic coral parasites such as:

  • Woodlice and sea spiders (Pantopoda) such as Zoanthus spiders
  • Amphipods, such as Gammarids, skeleton shrimps (Caprellidae)
  • Smaller crabs (Brachyura), such as the Acropora which attacks hairy coral crabs (Cymo)
  • Polychaeta, such as bristle worms and Spionidae
  • Parasitic copepods (Tegastidae) such as black bugs, red bugs, white bugs on e.g. Acropora, Euphyllia
