The Montipora Phoenix Evolution is an exclusive bred strain, known for its glowing hue that blends intense red, orange and yellow nuances. Plate growing coral!
This Montipora Phoenix Evolution is appreciated for its fast growing ability and its resistance to moderate fluctuations in water parameters. Its development in successive dishes allows it to create harmonious reliefs, adding a natural and dynamic touch to any well-established reef aquarium.
To maximize its brilliance and maintain its intense colors, moderate to strong lighting is recommended, with an intensity of 200-250 PAR. A medium flow is essential to prevent sediment accumulation and ensure optimal oxygenation of its tissues.
Like all SPS corals, the RAH Montipora Phoenix Evolution requires stable and well-balanced water:
- Temperature: 24-26°C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0 - 8.4
- KH: 7-10 dKH
- Calcium: 400-450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250-1350 ppm
- Nitrates: between 2 and 10 mg/L for optimal colouring
- Phosphates: between 0.02 and 0.08 mg/L
