Dosage

It is best to dissolve the required amount of salt in osmosis water at a moderate temperature, while stirring the water. After a short time the water is clear and can be used. The salt density should be between 1.022 and 1.025 at a temperature of 25° C. We recommend changing 5-10% of the water every 1-2 weeks.

38 g dissolved in 1000 ml of demineralized water at 25° C gives the following values (approximately):

• Density 1.022
• pH value 8.3-8.5
• KH approx. 8-10° dKH
• Calcium content of approx. 430 mg/L
• Magnesium content of approx. 1380 mg/L
• Strontium approx. 8.1 mg/L
