The nitrifying bacteria in Nite Out II contain strains of Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira and Nitrobacter. Nitrosomonas oxidize ammonia / ammonium to nitrite and Nitrobacter and Nitrospira oxidize nitrite to nitrate.
Recommended for use with all Microbe-Lift products.
Dosage:
New aquarium:
Add one teaspoon (5 ml) to 40 liters of water every day until nitrite and ammonium / ammonia values are acceptable.
Care and maintenance:
Add a teaspoon (5 ml) to 40 liters of water when changing the water or adding new animals.
