Jecod Sine Wave Wave Maker Pumps.

Conventional AC power is produced by rotating machines (alternators) that produce smooth alternation, like that of a crank. It is mathematically described as a "sine wave". It is the ideal waveform for AC power transmission.

When converting from AC to DC, most DC controllers will convert the AC voltage to a DC square wave or DC modified square wave. For the most part, a DC modified square wave often emulates a True Sine wave quite well, but the powered pump will often operate with audible levels of noise and a slightly 'jerky' operation due to the stepped rectangular waveform compared to a smooth True Sine Wave.

Using True Sine Wave technology, the new SOW sine wave pumps result in quiet and smooth operation that extends the life of the flow pump / wave maker.
