Why choose the Artemia Easy Breeder?

• Easy to use – Fill the breeder with water, salt, and eggs, connect an air pump, and let nature take its course.
• Maximum hatchability – The special design prevents eggs or nauplii from getting stuck in corners.
• Rapid breeding – At around 24°C, the nauplii hatch within 24–36 hours. At 20°C, this takes about 30–40 hours.
• Flexible placement – Can be used on the supplied stand or directly in the aquarium with suction cups and brackets.

This is how it works

• Fill the breeder with approximately 300 ml of water.
• Add 10 grams of Artemia salt and the desired amount of Artemia eggs (or use ready-made Artemix).
• Connect the air supply hose to an air pump (for example Resun Air 1000).
• The airflow creates a gentle vortex, keeping the eggs and nauplii in continuous motion.
• After hatching, turn off the air supply. The nauplii will settle to the bottom after a few minutes.
• Drain the nauplii through the hose and feed them directly to your fish, or grow them out further.

What do you need?

To start breeding Artemia, you'll need the following in addition to the Artemia Easy Breeder:

• Artemia salt or ready-made Artemix
• Artemia eggs
• An air pump (for example Resun Air 1000)
• Optional: a non-return valve for extra safety
