The temperature in an aquarium determines the welfare of the animals. Most aquarium inhabitants only feel really good at a temperature of 24-26 ° C. This temperature must therefore be maintained as precisely as possible. On the other hand, temperatures of more than 30 ° C and strong temperature fluctuations are a problem for many residents and plants and can weaken and damage them.

Lighting, pumps, room temperature and direct sunlight ensure that the water temperature in the aquarium can rise to an unhealthy level. With the help of aquarium chillers (eg: Aqua Cooler V2 or V4) it is possible to bring the high temperatures to a healthy level. The temperature in the aquarium drops due to the evaporation cold produced.

The Aqua Cooler Control has been specially developed for use with the HOBBY Aqua Cooler and regulates it with accuracy. The integrated sensor measures the temperature in the aquarium and displays it accurately on the digital display at 1 ° C. With a setting range of 1 - 40 ° C and three programmable speeds, you can thus adjust the HOBBY Aqua Cooler to the needs of your aquarium.

Simply connect the Aqua Cooler Control per plug connection (DC 5/2 mm) to the HOBBY Aqua Cooler V2 or V4, install the sensor at the desired location in the aquarium, set the desired temperature and you're done.
