The Favia Raptor's Peace is an iconic LPS coral with a deep red/purple-to-teal base and neon green mouths often rimmed with yellow to orange accents. Its characteristic mosaic corallites and thick ribs create a distinct high-contrast look that fluoresces spectacularly under blue light. It grows steadily into compact domes or as a low encrusting crust—ideal for both tight scapes and natural reef structures.

Care & placement

• Light : Low to medium (PAR ±80–150). Start low and photo-acclimatize to prevent bleaching.
• Flow : Light to moderate, diffuse; avoid direct, hard jets on tissue.
• Diet : Responds well to targeted feeding 1–2× per week with fine LPS food/microplankton (in the evening during polyp expansion).
• Placement : Lower to middle zone, on sand or stable rock; allow a few centimetres of space all around.
