Extra nitrate: in plant aquariums where few fish but many plants are present, a lack of nitrate NO3 may occur. With Easy-Life Nitro you can eliminate and avoid this.

Easy-Life Nitro and Easy-Life Phospho are used to correct shortages of resp. eliminate nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P). A lack of these macro elements irrevocably leads to faltering plant growth or even growth stagnation.

In plant aquariums with little or no fish, shortages of N and P can occur quickly, because little or no fish food (together with fish secretions the most important source of N and P) is used. Also in aquariums where a very high plant density is available, this can quickly be the case. Nitro (contains nitrate NO3) and Phospho (contains phosphate PO4) immediately fill these deficits.

The ratio between nitrate (NO3) and phosphate (PO4) is generally examined via the so-called Redfield ratio.

Can also be used in seawater. TIP: A bit of nitrate in the seawater aquarium will be appreciated by many corals. They then grow a little better. Often a level of approximately 5 ppm nitrate is advised. Not higher.
