Immediately makes aggressive tap water suitable

AquaMaker is a powerful, fast-acting water conditioner. It makes aggressive tap water immediately ready for use in all freshwater and seawater aquariums. AquaMaker is also suitable for reef aquariums and ponds. It is also absolutely safe for all fish, plants, corals, shrimps, snails and the biological filter.

AquaMaker is very versatile:

• Removes chlorine
• Removes chloramine
• Removes heavy metals such as copper, zinc and lead
• Binds and detoxifies toxic ammonia
• Binds and neutralizes nitrite
• Binds and neutralizes nitrate
• Stressed fishing
• Protects the mucous membranes and gills of fish
• AquaMaker has no influence on pH, KH or GH. In a seawater aquarium it will not make the skimmer (skimmer) overactive.

Application

AquaMaker can best be added to the tap water that is used in the water change. Then only use the dosage for the volume of this new tap water. In this way aggressive substances are immediately neutralized.

AquaMaker can of course also be dosed directly to the aquarium. Then base the dosage on the total volume of the aquarium water.

Dosage

The normal dose is 10 ml per 50 liters of aquarium water. Shake before use. The product may have a sulfur odor.

Example dosing to tap water for water exchange:

5 buckets of 10 liters each are filled to change the water. Then dose 2 ml AquaMaker in each bucket, mix it briefly and then pour it immediately into the aquarium.

Example dosing at an aquarium:

An aquarium has a water volume of 100 liters and 20 liters of water have been changed. The dosage of AquaMaker is then for the total water content, in this case 100 liters. The dose then becomes 20 ml AquaMaker.

Deviating dosages - concentrations of chloramine, chlorine and nitrite & water temperature

* use half a dose of AquaMaker (5 ml per 50 liters) at low concentrations of chlorine, chloramine or ammonia

* use a double dose of AquaMaker (20 ml per 50 liters) at higher concentrations of chlorine, chloramine or ammonia

* emergency: use a 3-fold dose of AquaMaker (30 ml per 50 liters) at very high nitrite concentrations (3 mg / l or higher) or ammonia values (1 mg / l or higher)

* do not use more than half a dose of AquaMaker as soon as the water temperature exceeds 30 ºC (= 86 ºF)

Frequently asked questions about Easy life Aquamaker

Can I use AquaMaker simultaneously with Easy-Life Filter Medium or EasyStart?

Filter Medium or EasyStart must always be used separately from other products such as AquaMaker. These products can remove certain ingredients from other additives (fertilizer, medication, etc.) from the water. It is best to first add Filter Medium or EasyStart after, for example, a water change. The water becomes cloudy after the addition of Filter Medium or EasyStart. After a while the water becomes clear again, and then other products can be added without problems. So always wait until the turbidity has completely disappeared. Filter Medium and EasyStart can always be used together at the same time.

My ammonia test measures strange values after using AquaMaker.

AquaMaker influences the results of these ammonia (NH3 / NH4 +) tests that are based on Nessler reagents or salicylates, so that they are not reliable. All reducing agents do that, incidentally. Preferably use a test that is not affected by reducing agents. Or wait approximately 48 hours after the addition of AquaMaker to carry out the test, then it will have virtually no influence on the measured values.

What influence does AquaMaker have on the biological filter?

AquaMaker binds, but does not remove, nitrite, nitrate and ammonia. The useful bacteria can still seize these compounds and further process them in their biological processes. In this way, AquaMaker has little influence on the functions of the beneficial bacteria. This applies to both the nitrification and the denitrification processes.

When do I use an AquaMaker emergency dose?

The emergency dose is 3 x the normal dose (30 ml per 50 liters), and can be used when the nitrite concentration is more than 3 ppm or when the ammonia concentration exceeds 1 ppm.

What happens to the bound ammonia, nitrite or nitrate?

AquaMaker binds these connections so that they no longer pose a threat to fish. Moreover, the useful bacteria in the biological filter and in the soil can further process these compounds in their biological processes without any problems.

Can I dose AquaMaker more often?

Yes, the product can be dosed again after 24 hours for the total water volume of the aquarium, without changing the water.
