ReefPearls are food pellets for filter feeders, fish and corals. These pellets are produced using a unique technique that uses agglomeration of microcapsules. The major advantages of these pellets are:

By capturing microscopically small nitrogen bubbles, they have a unique ability to remain in the water column constantly. In other words, they do not sink like most other food pellets, but remain floating in the tank for a long time.

The microcapsules retain their nutritional value after contact with the water. The essential fats and proteins in particular will therefore be more accessible for your animals. An additional advantage is that the foaming process of your protein skimmer will not be inhibited by released fats.

These are microcapsules that can easily be dosed with the aid of a feeder, making it easier to feed animals in need of energy regularly (eg Anthiases, gorgons, dendronephthia etc ...).

NB It takes a few minutes for the Reef Pearls to be absorbed by the water and we therefore recommend a system whereby the feed cannot end up in the overflow.
