The system operates on a smart acid-base principle , where citric acid and sodium bicarbonate combine with water to produce CO₂. The robust stainless steel cylinder guarantees high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and a long service life.

Operation

A special acid-base mixture (citric acid and sodium bicarbonate) is added to the pressure-resistant stainless steel cylinder along with water. This reaction produces CO₂, which is then introduced into the aquarium in a controlled manner via the pressure regulator and diffuser.

The system is easy to refill at home, making it particularly cost-effective to use.
