Operation

A special acid-base mixture (citric acid and sodium bicarbonate) is added to the pressure-resistant stainless steel cylinder along with water. This reaction produces CO₂, which is then introduced into the aquarium in a controlled manner via the pressure regulator and diffuser.

The system can be refilled quickly and easily at home, making it very cost-effective to use in the long run.
