The AP AquaKeramik Pillar Special Riffsäule M with arm (right) is a striking ceramic reef structure specifically designed for modern reef aquascapes. The additional arm creates a dynamic, multi-level structure with ample space for corals.

The open structure allows for good water circulation around the reef and at the same time offers many plateaus and attachment points for different types of corals.

Ideal for bacterial colonization

The highly porous surface of the ceramic is ideal for the establishment of beneficial filter bacteria. Combined with starter bacteria, this reef ceramic can even be an alternative to live rock when setting up a marine aquarium.

High-quality reef ceramics

The ceramic is fired from porcelain fracture and has been extensively tested to ensure that only minimal amounts of phosphate are released into the aquarium water. This makes the material safe and suitable for use in marine aquariums.

Usage

We recommend soaking the ceramic before use and, if necessary, using an iron-based phosphate absorber during the aquarium's start-up phase.
