The water is drawn into the reactor from below through the suction slots. It is then concentrated and accelerated upwards through a riser, where it is injected into the CO2 bubble, which is continuously formed by the underpressure in the upper part of the reactor. Intensive mixing and washing of the CO2 gas takes place here. The water is enriched with CO2 until it is saturated, is pulled down by gravity through the filter sponge and then returned to the aquarium via the pump.

Please reduce the CO2 supply so that no undissolved CO2 bubbles pass through the reactor and flow into the aquarium. In this way, the CO2 can be used most effectively and is available to the plants 100% without losses. As with all internal filters, the filter sponge should be cleaned regularly depending on how dirty it is.
