With AquaForest Niccolum Lab, you choose precise control over the nickel level in your marine aquarium. This high-quality supplement has been specially developed for demanding aquarists striving for an optimal saltwater environment for their corals and invertebrates.
Why add nickel to your marine aquarium?
Nickel is a trace element that occurs naturally in minimal amounts in seawater. It plays a subtle but essential role in the metabolism of various microorganisms and contributes to a healthy, stable ecosystem in your aquarium.
- Supports the biological processes of corals and bacteria
- Helps maintain a natural balance
- Prevents deficiencies that can affect the growth and color of corals
Precise dosing for maximum control
AquaForest Niccolum Lab contains concentrated nickel. With just 1 ml, you increase the nickel level by 0.004 mg/l in 100 liters of aquarium water. This allows you to adjust with extreme precision and maintain the recommended level of 0.001 to 0.01 mg/l.
- Ideal for advanced aquarists and laboratory applications
- Suitable for use in combination with ICP analyses
- Helps prevent fluctuations in trace elements
Safe use and quality
This supplement contains Nickel(II) (VI) sulphate hexahydrate and is intended for professional use. Always read the label and observe the safety instructions before use:
- Wear protective gloves and clothing when dispensing.
- Keep out of reach of children
- If the product gets on the skin, wash immediately with soap and water.
- Consult a doctor in case of irritation or an allergic reaction.
- Hand in empty packaging at the hazardous waste drop-off point.
Application and tips
For best results, we recommend having the nickel level tested regularly, for example with an ICP-OES analysis. Adjust the dosage based on the measured values and the needs of your aquarium. This ensures stable and healthy marine life, in which corals can grow optimally and retain their natural colors.
With AquaForest Niccolum Lab, you invest in the precision and professionalism your marine aquarium deserves.

Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt
AF-30013 Fully synthetic sea salt made for the cultivation of corals. The salt is formulated in this way to create the best conditions for marine fauna. It contains micro and macro elements that fully meet the needs of corals for good growth and color. The addition of probiotic bacteria also has a positive effect on the reduction of nitrates and phosphates and inhibits the development of pathogenic microorganisms in a marine aquarium. After the salt has dissolved, the freshly prepared seawater can be used immediately for replacement. When setting up new aquariums, we recommend that you release the first animals no sooner than 10-14 days after filling the reservoir. The salt contains bromides, which are present in natural seawater and therefore it is not recommended for filtration systems with ozone. In the case of using an ozonator, we recommend the Salt Reef Salt Aquaforest. Due to the presence of probiotic bacteria, we recommend that the DKH level be kept within the range of 6.5-8.0, a higher level can negatively influence the condition of the SPS corals.
