Application and operation
Component 1+ has been developed according to the advanced Balling method, in which calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity are dosed separately but in equal amounts. This system prevents fluctuations in water parameters and supports a stable ecosystem in the aquarium. Through the addition of carefully selected trace elements such as strontium, barium, cobalt, and iron, corals receive all the building blocks they need for optimal growth, color, and resistance.
- Contains: Calcium, Strontium, Barium, Cobalt, Manganese, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Nickel and Chromium.
- Increases calcium levels by 4.5 ppm at a dosage of 25 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water.
- Ideal for aquariums with an average to high coral stocking.
User manual
For best results, always dose Component 1+ in equal amounts with Component 2+ and Component 3+. The exact dosage depends on your aquarium's consumption and current water parameters. Regularly measure calcium, magnesium, and KH to maintain the ideal balance. A common starting dose is 25 ml per 100 liters of water per day, but this can be adjusted based on the consumption in your system.
- Stop taking separate doses of calcium, magnesium, and carbohydrate products before you start.
- Measure the most important water parameters daily at the same time.
- Determine the required daily dosage based on consumption.
- If necessary, use the Aquaforest calculator for an accurate calculation.
- Gradually adjust the dosage until the values remain stable.

Aquaforest Probiotic Reef Salt
AF-30013 Fully synthetic sea salt made for the cultivation of corals. The salt is formulated in this way to create the best conditions for marine fauna. The addition of probiotic bacteria also has a positive effect on the reduction of nitrates and phosphates and inhibits the development of pathogenic microorganisms in a marine aquarium. After the salt has dissolved, the freshly prepared seawater can be used immediately for replacement. When setting up new aquariums, we recommend that you release the first animals no sooner than 10-14 days after filling the reservoir. The salt contains bromides, which are present in natural seawater and therefore it is not recommended for filtration systems with ozone. In the case of using an ozonator, we recommend the Salt Reef Salt Aquaforest. Due to the presence of probiotic bacteria, we recommend that the DKH level be kept within the range of 6.5-8.0, a higher level can negatively influence the condition of the SPS corals.
