Achilles Reef Glue

Achilles Reef Glue is a super fast, gel-based, glue ideal for gluing coral cuttings.

Characteristics

• Super strong.
• Super fast.
• Pure, triple distilled cyanoacrylate glue.
• Solvent free.
• Non-toxic, 100% reef safe.
• Cap, with a sharp point, keeps the applicator tip free of stuck glue.

Use

• Switch off flow pumps.
• Make sure that all surfaces to be glued are clean and fit well together.
• Apply a small amount of glue to the coral outside the aquarium.
• Press the coral in the desired location in the aquarium for a short time (15 seconds).
• Switch on flow pumps again as soon as the glue has cured.
• Replace the cap immediately after use and close the bottle tightly.

Tips & tricks

• Close the cap (with a sharp point) well before first use to puncture the bottle.
• Achilles Reef Glue Gel is very viscous (syrupy). Before use and if necessary, tap the bottle upside down to bring the glue to the tip.
• If you want to glue a cutting on coarse / odd living stone, we recommend our Coralline
• Purple Reef Epoxy as a supplement. This epoxy glue allows you to create an even / stable base on which the Achilles Reef Glue can be applied.
• If you want to glue a lot of corals to cutting stones, we recommend the use of a clean container filled with seawater from the aquarium. Achilles Reef Glue hardens on contact with water. Use the water in the container to activate the curing and as a temporary collection location for your cuttings while you are still busy.

Save

To keep the Achilles Reef Glue Gel good for as long as possible, it is best to store it in a cool, dry environment such as in a box in the refrigerator.

Cyanoacrylate. Dangerous. Adheres to skin and eyelids within seconds. In the event of contact with skin wash with plenty of water and soap. In the event of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Harmful if swallowed. Keep out of the reach of children.
