The Turbelle® masterstream 6580 is an extremely powerful, high-performance propeller pump designed for applications requiring exceptionally strong and wide water flow. Suitable for aquariums larger than 20,000 liters , this pump is widely used in public aquariums, zoos, research institutes, rehabilitation centers, and fish or algae cultivation facilities. It is also available for demanding aquarists with very large reef systems.

Exceptional performance with high efficiency

With an adjustable flow rate from 45,000 to approximately 80,000 liters per hour, the Masterstream 6580 delivers enormous water displacement with a natural, broad flow. Despite this performance, energy consumption remains relatively low thanks to the efficient TUNZE® PM motor technology.

All components are manufactured from high-quality, seawater-resistant materials such as ASA, POM, and reinforced PA6.6. The motor shaft is made of titanium alloy , while the motor and electronics are fully encapsulated in PU resin. This guarantees maximum durability and reliability during long-term use.

Advanced propeller technology

The Masterstream 6580 uses a large, slow-turning performance propeller with a titanium shaft. The pump housing also functions as an intake filter, with an intake surface area almost four times larger than the exhaust. This eliminates the need for an additional intake screen.
